Still More Interest In Clerk Job

By Jeffrey B. Cohen

September 29, 2009

On Friday, it looked as though roughly 12 applications were submitted by people interested in being the next town and city clerk.

Now it looks like there were at least another six more - including Jerry Clapis, who used to handle media and communications for the school system, and Lucian Pawlak, former mayor of New Britain. Cityline took a peak at the remaining resumes today. Others interested included Pamela Mitchell-Crump, Tori Hamilton, Lina Lorenzi, and Sandra Wieleba, the town clerk of East Hampton.

The council appointed former Council President John Bazzano the next town and city clerk Monday night.
