is a member of the National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership
(NNIP) a network of cities coordinated by the Urban Institute
and supported by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, seeking to
further the development and use of neighborhood-level information
systems in local policy making and community building.
NNIP fosters the democratization
of information concentrating on facilitating the direct
practical use of data by city and community leaders. The
partner cities share lessons learned, successes, and strive
to establish a core set of neighborhood indicators across
the country to help understand the conditions in our neighborhoods.
