Tit for Tat

You'll recall that, earlier this week, city Councilman Pedro Segarra threatened to subpoena city people and documents related to the budget.

In a letter dated Wednesday, Mayor Eddie A. Perez shot back, saying he was "genuinely puzzled by what appears to be a fundamental misunderstanding of the city budget process and the copious data we have provided the council."

Then, although not addressing Segarra's complaint that city officials haven't made themselves available to the city council, Perez shoots back at Segarra and the council. Read the letter by clicking the link in the "Related Links" box.
