Here Comes the Judge

The dust up between a 5th distric Democratic town committee challenge slate and Democratic Registrar of Voter Olga Vazquez - who just happens to be on the opposing slate - hits the court room Friday morning. Testimony from both sides of the issue is expected but a ruling will probably not be issued until sometime next week.

The court case is about whether Vazquez's actions with petition signatures was legal or not, but the ruling could deliver a blow to Mayor Eddie A. Perez's hold on the 5th district, or put a serious dent in the plaintiffs efforts to weaken him.
