The Plot Thickens

Testimony resumed this morning in the law suit brought against Democratic Registrar of Voters Olga Vazquez by a challenge slate for Hartford Democratic Town Committee

Ted Bromley, an attorney in the secretary of state's office, today confirmed that a number of petitions for Vazquez' slate for the 5th district Democratic town committee primary should be declared invalid because they were not completed by the deadline.

But now the same may be true for the Marie Kirkley-Bey challeng slate. During questioning by Corporation Counsel John Rose, Bromley agreed that numerous petitions filed by her slate were also incomplete and should be declared invalid.

They are done for the day today. Due back at 10 a.m. tomorrow. The primary is Tuesday.
