The elevated section of I-84 known as the Aetna Viaduct is deteriorating. This document, based on a PowerPoint presentation from the June 12, 2008 forum, describes the situation as an opportunity to re-imagine the entire central area of Hartford building on the tenents of responsible growth, improved regional transportation, and intermodalism.
